The Western Sustainability Exchange hosts an annual Harvest Dinner where food providers, restaurant chefs and patrons join in a fund raising event celebrating fine sustainable foodstuffs. A live and silent auction are also held. These and the purchase of tickets are the major fund raiser for the organization.
